About The 2005 Games:

The Western Canadian Robot Games is an organization devoted to the advancement of interest in Science and Technology. The games are open to the public as both a spectator and competitor event, and we welcome competitors from around the globe! This is a world class event, running for 15 years!  You don't need to be a rocket scientist to compete in the games. Keynote Speaker

Marc Fricker, Canadian Space Agency

Marc Fricker holds a master's degree from Canada's Royal Military College in computer engineering, specializing in robotics. Marc joined the Canadian Space Agency in June 2003. His responsibilities include instructing astronauts and cosmonauts, as well as other ground-support personnel, such as mission controllers and flight directors, to operate our Canadian space robotics aboard the International Space Station.
