It's Over    Until next year

Wasn't that a party!!

The bleachers were packed with screaming and cheering kids and the daily schedule went without a hitch! (we were actually a few minutes ahead at the end of the day! ) We've ( The society ) have run some great RobotGames over the years, but that one definitely takes the cake in my opinion.

Well done to all the Society members who pitched in as well as all the volunteers from outside the society. I'm very proud to be in a group that continues to put out such great activities!

Most of all, of course, thanks to Queen Nancy whose tireless efforts and energies pulled off a great performance! Just amazing.... Well done!

FIRST Lego® League Alberta

SAIT Campus Centre

What is FIRST LEGO League? FLL is an international program for children created in a partnership between FIRST and the LEGO Company. Each September, FLL announces the annual Challenge to teams, which engages them in hands-on robotics design and authentic scientific research. After 8 intense weeks, the FLL season culminates at high-energy, sports-like tournaments. This year, over 34,500 children in North America and 5,500 children from 11 countries internationally are participating in the FLL program

The Western Canadian Robotics Society is proud to host the Western Canada regional tournament with the generous sponsorship of (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology).

Over 20 teams are registered to compete in this high-energy tournament - which will be held in conjunction with the SAIT Open House on February 7th, 2004. (In the Campus Centre Gym - Building V on this Printable Map)
