Again,
Brad Baillod's RoboPet is always popular at the event.
Brad Baillod (red shirt) has
been a busy little roboticist. He's been busy developing this Hexapod
walker, using just standard hand tools - no machine tools!
The quality of this device is considerable. I can't
wait to see how it turns out over the next few years...
The Solarbotics
booth proved to be busy this year, especially with the addition of the
Sherline Lathes & Mills they were selling. Sherline and Solarbotics
teamed up and donated a 5400 Mill (valued at over $900) for silent auction, benefiting
the WCRG!
Bob
Dewar, manning the Solarbotics Sherline Display
HVWTech
was well represented, showing off the wonders of microprocessor-based
robots. They also made arrangements with Robot
Science & Technology Magazine to bring issues in for resale, with
proceeds going to the WCRG!
Dred
- apparently on of the few Fire Extinguisher robots we had this year. It was
a pity that some of the ones entered never made it to the event. Was very
interesting to watch!
