Pneumatics Pnight
Tonight we visit SAIT's advanced pneumatic lab to experiment with design and
fabrication of pneumatic circuits.
Pneumatic Document:
Right here ( 1Mb pdf )
Time: 7:00pm Feb 10, 2005
Room T101, SAIT

SAIT's own Gordon Smith has put together the following evening for
us...
"
I was thinking of the
concept of a fun evening having your members build a series of pneumatic
circuits on our trainers, starting with simple manually-operated
circuits, and then building in a series of interlocks and feedbacks to
satisfy typical industrial applications, and culminating in a more
complex automatic mechanical and electro-pneumatic circuits. I will
provide all the schematics, and explanations of the underlying
philosophy, as well as help hook up the circuits where necessary! This
event will take place in T101, where we have 8 pneumatic trainers.
Obviously, your members will have to split into teams, depending upon
how many people turn up.
