Here's some comments from our participants...

Just wanted to thank and congratulate EVERYONE involved in putting
together this years Western Canadian Robot Games! It is easy to see
why it is considered The Premier Robotics Event in Canada. It really
was worth the trip from Ontario. I had a great time and am sure
everyone else did too! Great Job!
I especially want to thank Nancy March and the Maynard family for all
of their hospitality. You guys were a big part in my enjoying the
event so much.
Congrat's again to everyone involved.

See ya next year,

Mark Mac

It was an excellent exhibition and competition. It really motivated my son a lot. He is talking about improving the robot. ..

Thank you.

Hi guys, Just wanted to say thanks for all the work that you put into last weekends games. I know that it was a lot of work to put together and have it work out smoothly. Hats off to you two and all of the others who helped make it the success that it was. My son and I had a great time building and competing out mini-sumo sambots!

Look forward to next years events!!

Thanks again Greg and Aaron Ginis

As a first-time contestant, I want publicly to thank Dave Hylands for being so generous in his description of Marauder on his webpage. My intentions were to learn something about what making Marauder entailed. Little did I realize how good the Mark III foundation was and how Dave's enhancements made it into a winner. Because of Dave's generosity, my understanding of robotics' programming, electronics, mechanics and the integration of the three have leapt forward over that past year.

I also want to thank Mark, Dan and Scott of HVW Technologies for the patience that they have shown with my many questions. My goal after meeting and talking with Dave Hylands at the WCRG last year was to learn as much as I could about robotics. I feel that I have made a beginning towards that goal.

Thanks to all of you for creating such a fine Games. You have a remarkable organization. You care about your contestants. The Heart building is a beautiful site for the Games. You have wonderful sponsors and great prizes.
...
I also would like to become a member of your organization.
