Volunteering for the Western Canadian Robot Games
There are several ways you can give us a hand, and most require very
little of your spare time... The more hands, the lighter the load! More
detailed descriptions are found at the bottom of the page. Many tasks
can be done by folks in remote locations.
Please put your name in below and we'll sure find something for
you to do! This really is a fun team to get involved with: go
for it!
Sponsor for Robotgames: The WCRS wants to make the tournament as
exciting as any major sporting event, and financial assistance is gratefully
appreciated!
Competition Day Volunteers: We need folks to help setup /
teardown / and manage the day of the competition, and perhaps some work the
night before. Check out the "Volunteer Grid"
for an idea of the types of positions we need
Referee's: We need adults to referee the game day. This will
also require you sit one of our referee classes for a few hours prior to the
big day!
Judging: We need judges for the robots, and the teams
presentations. A judging class will be provided before the event.
Standing Committee Member: These are the oxen who tirelessly
labour to see this holy cause to fruition. Hmmm... I didn't make that sound
to satisfying! Believe me: it is! Application form for volunteering
If you can help us with our cause, please let us know who you are, and
how you could help!
